2 What is an infinitive? An infinitive is an unconjugated verb.
In simpler terms an infinitive is a verb that ends in: ar er ir The infinitive will translate as to + definition. Examples are: Hablar – to speak / to talk Comer – to eat Vivir – to live

3 Can you list the infinitives we have seen so far?

10 Questions with gustar. ¿Qué te gusta hacer?
What do you like to do? You can change the verb hacer with any other verb to make different sentences. Remember that you MUST use GUSTA before an infinitive…ALWAYS!!! ¿Qué te gusta comer? ¿Qué te gusta comer más, la comida china o la pizza? ¿Qué te gusta jugar? ¿Qué te gusta jugar menos, al fútbol o al béisbol.
