Breve Descripción del Proyecto: Construcción de la ampliación del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario en Agua Prieta Son. Los componentes de la ampliación del sistema de alcantarillado son: -Ampliación de 12,719 m. de tubería de alcantarillado de 20 cm. de diámetro. -Construcción de 129 pozos de visita.  -Construcción de 778 descargas domiciliarias. Project Name and Location : Expansion of the Wastewater Collection System in Agua Prieta, Sonora Type of Project: This project belongs to BECC's Wastewater Treatment and Domestic Water and Wastewater Hookups Sectors. Total Cost in USD Million: 7 mdp Project Description: Extending sewer lines to areas which currently do not have service. Actual coverage percentage is 69%. The sewer rehabilitation is required in the central zone where pipes have exceeded their useful life. Community Benefits: The project contributes to reduce environmental deterioration by expanding existing wastewater collection lines and providing hookups to households that currently lack this service. Costo Total en Millones de Dólares: 7 millones de pesos. Descripción del Proyecto: Ampliación del sistema de alcantarillado hacia áreas donde aun no se cuenta con este servicio. Actualmente la cobertura es de 69%. El sistema de alcantarillado requiere rehabilitación en particular en la zona centro donde las tuberías han excedido su vida útil. Beneficios a la Comunidad: El proyecto contribuye a la disminución del deterioro ambiental al ampliarse la red de alcantarillado sanitario existente, y proveer los medios para que se conecte parte de la población que carece del servicio.
