9 Compañeros Compañero= conversation partner 4 step process 1.Select a person sitting next to you at your table group/ a seat mate whom you’ll feel comfortable speaking Spanish with. 2.Decide who’s going to speak 1 st. They raise their hand when Sra. Waters says “Empezamos” 3.Following examples, begin your conversación/ review practice. Then switch when your done, so that your compañero has a chance to start the conversación. 4.Listen for the “Silencio” command from Sra. Waters which is your clue to stop conversing & be silent! 13 Un evento para el jueves 1.Con tu compañero/a, vas a crear una entrada para un evento especial 2.Debes incluir: –Qué evento es – deportes, película, concierto, etc. –El lugar (place) del evento –La hora del evento –Cuánto cuesta una entrada –Cuáles personas famosas hay – deportistas, actores, cantantes, etc 3.Escribir un conversación con tu compañero/a sobre asistir su evento

14 Un juego – Las Lenguas 1.You will get a deck of cards with a Spanish vocabulary word, the English word, and a picture 2.First, sort the words to determine which cards match each other 3.After you are familiar with the words, we are ready to play!

15 Un juego – Las Lenguas 1.Shuffle your cards and give each player 3. 2.Each turn, you must choose 1 card to pass to the left. Everyone must always have 3 cards. 3.You want to collect a set of 3 with the Spanish word, English word, and picture. 4.If you get your set of 3, quickly and quietly stuck out your tongue. You won the round. 5.Winner, keep playing with your tongue out by passing the same card you receive each time until everyone else notices. 6.Everyone else – be watchful to see if someone sticks our his/her tongue. If you’re the last to do it, you are out!!!!
