Breve Descripción del Proyecto: Monterrey, NL - Proyecto de Ampliación de Red de Distribución de Agua Tratada Ampliar la infraestructura para el suministro de Agua Residual Tratada a Parques Industriales y Áreas Verdes que se localizan dentro del Área Metropolitana de Monterrey. Project Name and Location : Project for the expansion of the Treated Wastewater Distribution System, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Type of Project: Wastewater Treatment Total Cost in USD Million: 66.34 Project Description: The proposal project consists of expanding the infrastructure available for treated wastewater conveyance in the Monterrey Metropolitan Area and three adjacent communities, for the purpose of increasing the reuse of wastewater for industrial and irrigation of green areas that currently use drinking water. The project includes the construction of wastewater conveyance lines and pump stations and regulation tanks. Community Benefits: The project will positively impact the community, benefiting large stretches of Urban sprawl located on outskirts of the city, primarily in areas with low water availability and aquifer potential. Above all, it makes it possible to supply treated wastewater and potentially free up flows to meet first-use water demand. Tipo de Proyecto: Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales Costo Total en Millones de Dólares: 66.34 M Descripción del Proyecto: El proyecto consiste en la ampliación de la infraestructura existente para la conducción del agua residual tratada en la Zona Metropolitana de Monterrey y tres municipios aledaños, con el fin de incrementar el reuso de este recurso en uso industrial y riego de aéreas verdes que actualmente utilizan agua potable. Incluye Estaciones de bombeo y tanques de regulación. Beneficios a la Comunidad: El proyecto impactará positivamente a la comunidad ya que beneficia a grandes extensiones de área urbana que se localiza en la periferia de la mancha urbana, principalmente en las zonas donde existe escasa disponibilidad de agua potable y potencial acuífero y sobre todo que permite el suministro de agua residual tratada y liberar potencialmente los caudales de demanda de agua de primer uso.
