3 Valorisation de la Recherche, Transfert de Technologie et Création d’Entreprises Spanish government decision Modification of the LOU in order to stimulate the knowledge transference Main points: the universities have to promote the knowledge transference though the appropriate mechanisms (For example: through the rules applied to select the teaching staff) The Autonomic Authorities have to stimulate this Transference (For example: through gratifications)

4 Valorisation de la Recherche, Transfert de Technologie et Création d’Entreprises Main points which have changed in the LOU The teaching staff may form part of the Enterprise Council The professor may me allowed to have up to five sabbatical years with place reservation and antiquity recognition The teaching staff has no limitation in the participation in the firm (before they could only reach up to the 10%) The Spin Off can provide products and services to the administration (including the universities)
