The sexual development evolves during the early childhood and the early adolescence insuring bases for the adult sexual health. During this process, there is a biological, psychological and cognitive development on an individual level. El desarrollo sexual evoluciona durante la infancia y la adolescencia sentando las bases para la salud sexual del adulto. 4 A healthy sexual development depends on the experience of a continued process involving a physical, psychological and social well being. Sexuality is built through the interaction among the child, the family, the peers, the school and society. Un desarrollo sexual saludable depende de la experiencia de un proceso continuo de bienestar físico, psicológico y sociocultural relacionado con la sexualidad.
