4 Las Botas Boot Verbs / Stem changing verbs are verbs that are irregular in the present tense. These verbs have a change in the stem of the verb. Jugar: Jug is the stem The change must always occur with a vowel. The different type of stem changes can be: o-ue, e-ie, u-ue, and e-i.

5 Las Botas The stem change occurs in all forms of the verbs EXCEPT nosotros and vosotros. Nosotros and vosotros are conjugated normally. Once you do the stem change, just add the normal endings for AR, ER, and IR verbs.
