Both affirmative and negative Usted/Ustedes commands are formed by using the third person singular (usted) or third person plural (ustedes) form of the present subjunctive. Object pronouns are always attached to affirmative Usted/Ustedes commands. A written accent is added to when object pronouns are attached. Firme el cheque. Fírmelo. Escriban las cartas. Escríbanlas. Object pronouns are placed in front of negative Usted/Ustedes commands. No lo firme. No las escriban.
