2 FORMATION EX: Yo tuviera, Ella comiera, Tú comieras, etc. Yo Tú
Take the 3rd person plural preterite form of a verb. EX: tener tuvieron (irregular) comer comieron hablar hablaron 2. We drop the “ron” from the verb form. This will be the stem for all conjugated forms. 3. We add the proper endings. All ending will be the same regardless of being an AR, ER, or IR verb. Yo Tú Él, ella, usted Nosotros* Vosotros Ellos, ellas, Uds. ra ras -´ramos rais ran EX: Yo tuviera, Ella comiera, Tú comieras, etc.

FORMATION These endings are less common and found mostly in literature: Yo Tú Él, ella, usted Nosotros* Vosotros Ellos, ellas, Uds. se ses -‘semos seis sen EX: Yo hablese, tú comieses, nosotros tuviésemos

7 HOW THE TENSE IS USED ►We use the imperfect subjunctive when referring to a previous experience or also unlikely events or possibilities. ►For example: Si tuviera más dinero, viajaría por todo el mundo. If I were to have more money, I would travel around the world. ► There are about 5 ways to use the imperfect subjunctive, but first you must familiarize yourself with “WEIRDOS”

15 FORMULA FOR USING THE SUBJUNCITVE
We use the Past (Imperfect) Subjunctive in the dependent clause (following "que") when the main clause (Subject #1) is in the past tense [the Preterite, the Imperfect or the Conditional.] Past Imperfect Subjunctive Preterite Yo le recomendé que él bebiera cuatro vasos de agua cada día. Imperfect Yo quería que él bebiera cuatro vasos de agua cada día. Conditional Yo querría que él bebiera cuatro vasos de agua cada día. Past Perfect Yo había querido que él bebiera cuatro vasos de agua cada día. Remember that the word "que" introduces the dependent clause.
