2 inglés vs. español In English, commands almost always stay the same, whether they are given to 1 or more people. In Spanish, they are formed differently depending if you are talking to 1 person (tú,usted) or more than 1 person (ustedes). Dance! ¡Baila! (tú) ¡Baile! (usted) ¡Bailen! (ustedes)

3 inglés vs. español In English, if you want to give a command to a group in which you include yourself, you simply add “Let’s” in front of the verb. In Spanish, again there is a certain way to form the command: Let’s dance! ¡Bailemos! (nosotros)

4 Affirmative and negative Ud./Uds./nosotros commands
Similar to what you do for negative tú commands! To form them: 1. Conjugate verb in the “yo” form present tense 2. Drop the -O 3. Add the appropriate “opposite”ending: Usted command Ustedes command Nosotros command -ar verbs -e -en -emos -er / -ir verbs -a -an -amos

The irregular Ud./Uds./nosotros commands are the same as negative tú commands, but have different endings!

17 Con los pronombres Pedro ¡Elíjanme por presidente!
Pronoun placement is the same for usted/ustedes/nosotros commands as for tú commands. Positive command: pronoun is attached and an accent is needed on the 3rd vowel from the back. Negative command: pronoun is placed before the command and after “No”. Pedro ¡Elíjanme por presidente! ¡No me elijan por presidente!

When adding the reflexive pronoun “nos” for a positive command, you must first drop the -s of the command ending ¡Organicemos una campaña! Let’s organize a campaign! ¡Organicémonos! Let’s organize ourselves! Note: You don’t want a –mosnos comboIt’s a tongue twister!!! drop attach
