5 The Past Participle: Used to modify a noun, like an adjective. Must agree with the gender and quantity of the noun it is modifying. Me diste una manzana podrida. (rotten) Está encima de la caja cerrada. (shut) Pedimos huevos revueltos. (scrambled)

6 The Past Participle Used with auxillary verbs to create compound tenses. Mi libro favorito fue escrito por Gabrial Garcia Márquez. (written) He termindado mi trabajo.
