4 Teen Births by Race/Ethnicity (rate per 1,000 females age 15–19) City of Long Beach, 2007-2011
Hispanic females have the highest number of teen births. Las adolescentes hispanas tienen el mayor número de nacimientos. Although the number is decreasing, more Hispanic teens have babies than other ethnic groups. We need to continue to monitor and make sure that there are resources and education to help teens wait until they are really ready to have a baby.
