Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we have been working on ten more, ten less, one more, one less, wrote about “A Picnic at the Park,” practiced our handwriting, etc. What We Are Learning Next Week Spelling Words: funny, baby, easy, pretty, tiny, sleepy, snowy, lucky, puppy, windy, story, work, here Sentences: 1. The story was about a baby bunny. 2. Does that lady work here? The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  Reading: Character, Setting, and Plot Daily 5: Writing about “Frogs“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Ordering Numbers with a Hundred Chart, and Before, After, and Between Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Kordae Tuesday – Elijah Wednesday – Field Trip Thursday – Ryker Friday – Madison On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students. Esta semana hemos completado nuestro Benchmark de Matemáticas y hemos revisado matemáticas que tenemos uno en el último trimestre, escribió sobre "Cómo crecen las plantas", practicamos nuestra escritura, etc. Ortografía palabras: blue, new, true, suit, threw, fruit, drew, juice, few, chewing, how, house, put oraciones: 1. Their new house is just up the road. 2.
