It is used when the person or thing referred to is nonexistent or unknown. Used to talk about what is not when the speaker doesn’t know what is.

7 How’s it used? Used in the subjunctive to describe something that is nonexistent or unknown Ex.) No hay nadie que confie en Marcos. Ex.) Busco una novia que sea abierta y amigable
