CRISTINA MANCHADO DEL VAL SECOND EDITION EIDEIC 2016 Good Morning my name is Piedad Eliana Lizcano Amorocho I want to share with you the progress of my research project: ANALYSIS OF VISUAL IMPACT OFFSHORE WIND FARMS IN CANTABRIA in this second edition EIDEIC. The project directors are: Cesar Otero Gonzales and Cristina Manchado del Val.

2 OBJETIVES SECOND YEAR OF DOCTORATE
To look at the documentation on the topic. To continue training of design tools and computer- assisted and English. To contrast the existing methodology of visual impact. To get the results for the analysis of visual impact.

3 FIRST RESULTS SIGHTS POPULATION PATHS ROADS BUILDINS
1. Georeferencing and locate 65 wind towers in the geodesic system ETRS89/ETRS-TM30 in groups of five; with nomenclature: WTG1, WTG2, WTG3, …… until WTG13. The groups are spaced along the coast 10 km and wind towers are separated from each other 2km offshore. 2. Visual influence radius was defined in 8km and 15km. 3. the shape of the digital terrain model is circular with a radius of 15 km and a pixel size of 25 by 25. 4. The visual impact analysis was conducted to population, roads, paths, and sights. The map shows an enlarged image of the visual inventory scenarios. 5. Simulate and model of 65 wind towers in the application Moyses4.0; including visual inventory (population, roads, tourist interest and buildings among others).

4 3.2. VISUAL IMPACT INDICATORS ACCORDING TO THE SPANISH METHOD.
The results of Moyses application were: 3.1. general REPORTS: POPULATION: Area population and number of people affected and unaffected visually. ROADS AND PATHS: km length of roads and paths are visually affected and unaffected. PLACES OF TOURIST INTEREST: Area affected and unaffected. 3.2. VISUAL IMPACT INDICATORS ACCORDING TO THE SPANISH METHOD. 3.3. MAPS VISIBILITY OF 65 WIND TOWERS. I clarify that these are the first results analysis and study location. then a second analysis where the number of wind towers will increase and the location will be modified.

5 3.2. VISUAL IMPACT INDICATORS ACCORDING TO THE SPANISH METHOD.
The results according to the Spanish method were: for example for the wind tower WTG1 -2km from the coast : We have visibility coefficients: a: Win tower visibility coefficient WTG 1 -2KM from the population. b: Visibility coefficient of the population to the wind tower WTG1 -2KM. c: Visibility coefficient generated by the wind tower if located within a cuboid, where the value of c depends on the viewpoint: front, lengthwise or diagonal. d:Visibility coefficient which depends on the distance between the wind tower and the population. e: Visibility coefficient which depends on the number of habitants. Others results were: PA1,PA2 Y PA3, there are visual impact indicators according to the Spanish method and of visibility coefficients of the above product visibility. And de last result was the angle horizontal of view from the wind tower to the stage studied.

6 3.3. MAPS VISIBILITY OF 65 WIND TOWERS.
Finally it obtained as the result graphic visibility map: The red shows areas where the wind tower is seen. The visual impact is related to the changes experienced by potential landscape views, and the effects these changes have on the population.
