3 Las diferencias entre “had better” y “should”
Ambos verbos modales expresan una razón emocional y práctica para hacer algo. En el caso de “Had better” (más vale que…) nos referimos a una situación específica. Mientras que “Should” (debería…) se utiliza para consejos o recomendaciones generales.

4 Had better (mas vale que...)
Usamos esta expresión mas un verbo en infinitivo para dar un consejo o recomendación. “You ´d better study for the English test.” Usamos had better para dar un consejo sobre algo que ocurre en el presente o futuro. Su forma en negativo es had better not. Example: You’d better not say anything. Usamos had better para dar consejos sobre situaciones específicas no generales.
