Do you know which Mindset you have? Usted sabe qué mentalidad que tiene? Let’s see- complete this questionnaire and find out! Do you agree or disagree with the following? Vamos a ver- completar este cuestionario y descubra! (1) Your intelligence is something very basic about you that you can’t change very much. Su inteligencia es algo muy básico acerca de usted que no se puede cambiar mucho. (2) You can learn new things, but you can’t really change how intelligent you are. Usted puede aprender nuevas cosas, pero realmente no se puede cambiar lo inteligente que eres. (3) No matter how much intelligence you have, you can always change it quite a bit. Alguien con una mentalidad fija: Avoids challenges evita desafíos Gets defensive pone a la defensiva Gives up easily Se da por vencido fácilmente Sees effort as worthless (why should I try?) Ve esfuerzo como valor (¿por qué debería?) Ignores useful feedback No tiene en cuenta la retroalimentación útil Feels threatened by the success of others Se siente amenazado por el éxito de los demás Believes that intelligence is fixed and cannot be changed no matter how hard they try Se Siente amenazado por el Éxito de los Demás Wants to LOOK smart without effort Quiere lucir elegante y sin esfuerzo

Alguien con una mentalidad de crecimiento: Embraces challenges abraza desafíos Doesn’t give up when things get hard No darse por vencido cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles Sees effort as what it takes to succeed Ve esfuerzo, ya que lo que se necesita para tener éxito Learns from criticism Aprende de la crítica Learns lessons and becomes inspired by the success of others Aprende lecciones y se convierte en inspirado por el éxito de los demás Believes that intelligence can be developed Cree que la inteligencia puede desarrollarse Wants to LEARN with effort Quiere aprender con esfuerzo

7 How do I help myself have a GROWTH Mindset?
Cómo puedo ayudar a mi mismo tienen una mentalidad de crecimiento? Don’t give up- keep trying! Learning takes time!!! No le dé arriba seguir intentando! El aprendizaje requiere tiempo !!! One failure doesn’t mean total failure! Un fracaso no significa fracaso total! You don’t have to be better than anyone but yourself yesterday Usted no tiene que ser mejor que nadie más que usted ayer When you hit a roadblock- ask yourself these questions: Al llegar a un roadblock- hágase las siguientes preguntas: What do I already know? ¿Qué es lo que ya sé? What do I need to know? Qué necesito saber? Who could help me? Quién me puede ayudar? What resources do I have available to me? Con qué recursos tengo a mi disposición?

Creating a growth Mindset is up to you! Don’t give up, keep working, learning takes time--- but it is worth it! La creación de una mentalidad de crecimiento depende de usted! No se rinda, seguir trabajando, el aprendizaje requiere tiempo --- pero vale la pena!
