4 Verb Conjugation In Spanish, we conjugate (change) verbs in three different ways. (Ex. I eat vs. you eat) Some words end in –ar, some in –er, and some in –ir. By the time you are an 8 th grader, you will have conjugated all THREE types of Spanish verbs!

5 3 easy steps to verb conjugation 1.Take the ending off the verb. 2.Figure out your subject and decide which form of the verb to use 3.Add the correct ending

7 Modelo Yo ________ español. (hablar) 1.Take off the ending.Habl 2.I need to use the yo form of the verb, first person singular. The ending is -o. 3.Add the ending to the stem of the verb. Habl + o = hablo =Yo hablo español.
