4 ¿Qué es la Cistitis Intersticial?  Cistitis (inflamación)  Intersticial o intersticio (pared de la vejiga).  Conocida como: -Síndrome vesical doloroso -Síndrome de vejiga dolorosa (BPS) -Síndrome de vejiga imperactiva (OBS)

5 ¿Cuáles son sus causas?  No hay causa aparente.  Hipótesis: -Bacteria E. coli -Diabetes -Embarazo -Debilidad de suelo pélvico -Relaciones íntimas -Obstrucción de vejiga o uretra Vejiga durante llenado. Vejiga luego del llenado con lesiones.

6 Síntomas  Poliuria.  Urgencia urinaria.  Micción dolorosa.  Dolor en espalda baja.  Trazos de sangre en orina.  Ardor o quemazón.  Úlceras de Hunner.  Mujeres: -Dolor abdominal, uretral o vaginal  Hombres: -Dolor testicular o perineal.
