Unos mitos y la realidad (Myths vs. Reality) La inmigración (Immigration)
2

In 2011, Georgia cracked down on illegal immigrants causing many to be deported and more to flee. This caused a huge shortage of labor. The farmers couldn’t find anyone else (Americans) to work the fields and lost thousands and thousands of acres of food and money. Everything rotted where it grew. A few years back, a large farm made national news by trying to recruit all “American” workers…only had a couple of “Americans” apply. Two were hired…one quit, the other stuck it out for a while.

6
Myth #5: The “war on terrorism” can be won through immigration restrictions. Not one security expert since 9/11 has ever said that restrictive immigration measures would have prevented the terrorist attacks. Instead, the key is good use of good intelligence. Most of the hijackers were here on legal tourist or student visas Since 9/11, the tons of measures targeting immigrants in the name of national security have netted NO terrorism prosecutions. If fact, several of these measures actually make us less safe as targeted communities become more afraid to come forward with important information.
