 In Spanish, we have two past tenses. El pretérito is used to talk about events that occurred at a SPECIFIC point in the past.  The actions were completed in the past.

 What is the Preterit?  The past, YES….  Completed actions in the past (done at a specific point in time)  ¿Is it easy to conjugate?  Yes & No.  There are regular verbs, BUT there are MANY irregular verbs. You need to memorize them.

 ¡Es difícil!  You could make a verb chart inorder to organize the verbs and use it as a reference.  You need to MEMORIZE the irregular verbs!  AND you need to practice at home!
