AVANCEMOS Gustar with an infinitive

GUSTAR WITH AN INFINITIVE We use the verb GUSTAR to talk about what people like to do in Spanish. This verb works differently than most other verbs in Spanish. You can use the following expressions to create “LIKE” sentences in Spanish:

GUSTAR PHRASES 1.Me gusta dibujar. 2.Te gusta dibujar. 3.Le gusta dibujar. 4.Nos gusta dibujar. 5.Les gusta dibujar. 1. I like to draw. 2. You like to draw. 3. He/she likes to draw/you (formal) like to draw. 4. We like to draw. 5. They like to draw/you all like to draw.

GUSTAR PHRASES You will notice that in the last slide, the 1 st word of each sentence changes based on the person that likes something. Notice that you DO NOT SEE any subject pronouns (yo, tú, etc.) in the sentences.
