Flash card strategy 1 Using the cards to study on your own or with a partner.

Strategy 1 Hold the cards so that your partner cannot see them. Cover the word and show your partner the picture. The partner will try to identify and say what the word is in Spanish. You can use your Cornell Notes. If your partner does not get the word in 5 seconds, tell them the word and place it back in the pile. If your partner says the word, place the card on the desk. This is the pile you are proficient with.

Strategy 2 Increase memory and observation skills.

Memory Place desks facing each other. Place both sets of cards face down on the desks. One person chooses two cards to turn over. If the cards match they are removed from the table and count as a point. The player gets another turn. If the cards don’t match, they are turned back over and it is the other person’s turn.

Sort the cards so that each person gets their own cards back.

Strategy 3 Using the flash cards for a partner game in class. Listen, identify, and read

Agárralo 1.Move the desks so that you face each other. 2.Clear the binder off your desk. 3.Place one set of the flash cards Spanish side up on the desk top. 4.When the word is said you find it and grab it before your partner does.
