Le gusta la casa It is impossible to tell whether this means: He likes the house. She likes the house. To clarify this, we add a prepositional phrase and we remove the vagueness of the "le" form. A él le gusta la casa. A ella le gusta la casa. He likes the house. She likes the house. A Juan le gusta la casa. A Laura le gusta la casa. John likes the house. Laura likes the house.
