Reflexive Pronouns Reflexive pronouns are equivalent to the English pronouns myself, yourself, himself, herself, ourselves, and themselves. Sara se ducha después de levantarse. Sara showers herself after she gets up. Reflexive verbs state what someone does “to” or “for” herself or himself. Yo me cepillo los dientes todos los días.
