MEZCLAS Y SOLUCIONES MIXTURES & SOLUTIONS Nancy Fredrickson 2005

UNA MEZCLA TIENE DIFERENTES MATERIALES PERO SE QUEDAN EN SU FORMA ORIGINAL, INDIVIDUALMENTE. A MIXTURE HAS DIFFERENT MATERIALS BUT THEY REMAIN IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORMS INDIVIDUALLY.

EN UNA MEZCLA, PODEMOS SACAR PEDAZOS DE CADA MATERIAL. IN A MIXTURE, WE CAN TAKE OUT PIECES OF EACH MATERIAL EASILY.

IT’S EASY TO SEPARATE THE INGREDIENTS OF A MIXTURE. IF IT HAS SOME IRON, USE A MAGNET! ES FACIL SEPARAR LOS INGREDIENTES DE UNA MEZCLA. SI TIENE ALGO DE HIERRO, USA UN IMAN.

A SOLUTION HAS INGREDIENTS THAT MIX COMPLETELY…WE CAN’T REALLY “SEE” ALL OF THE ORIGINAL SUBSTANCES… = + UNA SOLUCION TIENE INGREDIENTES QUE SE MEZCLAN TOTALMENTE…NO PODEMOS “VER” LAS SUSTANCIAS ORIGINALES EXACTAMENTE….

THE FLAVOR OF THE DRINK MIX (A PHYSICAL PROPERTY) STAYS THE SAME BEFORE AND AFTER MIXING… EL SABOR DEL POLVO DE BEBIDA (UNA PROPIEDAD FISICA) SE QUEDA IGUAL ANTES Y DESPUÉS DE REVOLVER…

THE FLAVOR DOESN’T CHANGE! ¡EL SABOR NO CAMBIA!

SALT AND SUGAR DISSOLVE EASILY IN WATER…AND EVEN FASTER IN HOT WATER. LA SAL Y EL AZUCAR SE DISUELVE FACIMENTE EN AGUA…Y AUN MAS RAPIDO EN AGUA CALIENTE.

AND THEIR FLAVORS STAY THE SAME – SALTY OR SWEET! Y SUS SABORES SE QUEDAN IGUALES – SALADO O DULCE.

TO SEPARATE A MIXTURE OF SALT, WATER AND SAND: 1-MIX ALL TOGETHER 2-POUR THROUGH FILTER PAPER 3-THE SAND STAYS IN THE FILTER PAPER 4 – WATER EVAPORATES, THE SALT STAYS! SALT DISSOLVED IN WATER

PARA SEPARAR UNA MEZCLA DE SAL Y ARENA 1-MEZCLAR CON AGUA 2-PASA POR PAPEL 3-SE QUEDA LA ARENA EN EL PAPEL SAL DISUELTA→ EN AGUA 4 - EVAPORAMOS EL AGUA – SE QUEDA LA SAL
