El condicional The conditional
In English, we use the helping verb would to express the conditional tense. Ex1: I would eat pizza every day. Ex2: Would they play games?
The conditional is used to express what would or could happen in the future.... express what would or could happen in the future. Ex: Comería pizza todos los días. I would eat pizza every day.
The conditional is used to make a polite request. Ex: Me gustaría un vaso de agua. I would like a glass of water.
The conditional is used to express wonderment or possibility in the past Ex: Ellos irían a la escuela. They probably went to school.
Conjugation Conjugate the same way as you do with the future tense. Attach the conditional endings directly to the infinitive. All types of verbs (-ar, -er, -ir) use the same endings. All endings have an accent on the í.

Irregulars The conditional has the same irregular verbs as the future tense. The changes are the same as they are for the future tense.
