Mechanics Involved (Present) Hace + time + que + present tense form of the verb Ex: Hace + los meses + que + bailan en fiestas They have been dancing in parties for months.

We can make this negative too! Hace + time + que + no +present tense form of verb EX: Hace + los messes +que + NO +bailan en fiestas They have not been dancing in parties for months.

Another way!! Present tense verb form + desde hace + time EX: Nadan en mi piscina barrio desde hace quince años. They have been swimming in the neighborhood pool for fifteen years.

Make that Negative! No + Present tense verb form + desde hace + time Ex: No leo por divertido desde hace todo año escuela. I have not read for fun all school year.
