GENDER All nouns in Spanish are either masculine or feminine. If a noun refers specifically to a boy, it is masculine. Masculine nouns are accompanied by the articles el/los (the) or un/unos (a/some) If a noun refers specifically to a girl, it is feminine. Feminine nouns are accompanied by the articles la/las (the) or una/unas (a/some) However, most nouns are not people. So, how do we determine if nouns are masculine or feminine? THE WAY THE NOUN ENDS!
