Romanos 7:1-3 7 ¿Acaso ignoráis, hermanos (pues hablo a los que conocen la ley), que la ley tiene jurisdicción sobre una persona mientras vive? 2 Pues la mujer casada está ligada por la ley a su marido mientras él vive; pero si su marido muere, queda libre de la ley en cuanto al marido.

3 Así que, mientras vive su marido, será llamada adúltera si ella se une a otro hombre; pero si su marido muere, está libre de la ley, de modo que no es adúltera aunque se una a otro hombre.

Romans 7:1-3 7 Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives? 2 For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband.

3 So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man.

Mateo 5:18 18 Porque en verdad os digo que hasta que pasen el cielo y la tierra, no se perderá ni la letra más pequeña ni una tilde de la ley hasta que toda se cumpla.

Matthew 5:18 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Romanos 7:4 4 Por tanto, hermanos míos, también a vosotros se os hizo morir a la ley por medio del cuerpo de Cristo, para que seáis unidos a otro, a aquel que resucitó de entre los muertos, a fin de que llevemos fruto para Dios.

Romans 7:4 4 Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Hebreos 7: Porque ciertamente, queda anulado el mandamiento anterior por ser débil e inútil 19 (pues la ley nada hizo perfecto), y se introduce una mejor esperanza, mediante la cual nos acercamos a Dios.

Hebrews 7: For, on the one hand, there is a setting aside of a former commandment because of its weakness and uselessness 19 (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Romans 7:5-6 5 For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. 6 But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

Jeremías 31: He aquí, vienen días--declara el SEÑOR--en que haré con la casa de Israel y con la casa de Judá un nuevo pacto, 32 no como el pacto que hice con sus padres el día que los tomé de la mano para sacarlos de la tierra de Egipto, mi pacto que ellos rompieron, aunque fui un esposo para ellos--declara el SEÑOR;

Jeremiah 31: “ Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,”

declares the Lord. 33 “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “ I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

2 Corintios 3:2-3 2 Vosotros sois nuestra carta, escrita en nuestros corazones, conocida y leída por todos los hombres, 3 siendo manifiesto que sois carta de Cristo redactada por nosotros, no escrita con tinta, sino con el Espíritu del Dios vivo; no en tablas de piedra, sino en tablas de corazones humanos.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
