Los adjetivos Adjectives must agree with the nouns they modify in GENDER (masculine or feminine) and NUMBER (singular or plural)

Examples of nouns and adjectives La regla (feminine, singular) Las chicas (feminine, plural) El chico (masculine, singular) Los libros (masculine, plural) Adjectives roja (feminine, singular) rubias (feminine, plural) guapo (masculine, singular) negros (masculine, plural)

If a noun or adjective ends in –a, it is usually feminine and singular la regla roja Noun, feminine & singular Adjective, feminine & singular

Some adjectives end in a vowel or consonant, so you only change the number by adding –s or -es azul, azules (for both masculine & feminine) inteligente, inteligentes (for both masculine & feminine)
