Verbos –ar en el presente How to conjugate a regular –ar verb in the present tense

Verbos –ar en el presente Remember “hablar” only means “to speak, to talk”. Therefore, you can’t say Yo hablar = I to speak (????) which does not make any sense! So, for the verb to say “I speak, you speak, he speaks, etc.” you must take the “-ar” off of the infinitive and put a new ending on the verb. In Spanish, all infinitives end in –ar/-er/-ir. (necesitar) In English, an infinitive = to + verb (to need)

Verbos –ar en el presente To conjugate a regular –ar verb in the present tense you must drop the “ar” from the infinitive and replace it with a new ending depending upon the subject. 1) Yo – oNosotros – amos 2) Tú – asVosotros – áis 3) Ud. – aUds. – an Él – aEllos – an Ella – aEllas – an
