But wait!!!!!!!!! What happens to the pronoun when we use the infinitive form?? Por ejemplo: I like to paint my nails…

Primero… You will NOT conjugate a verb when it is immediately following another conjugated verb. Por ejemplo: Me gusta pintarme las uñas. 1st verb 2ndverb Refexive pronoun

Segundo… You also will NOT conjugate the verb when it follows the phrases “antes de/después de” Por ejemplo: Yo me cepillo los dientes antes de bañarme.

Tercero… When you are using a reflexive verb in a sentence that is NOT conjugated, you still must change the pronoun to match the subject. Por ejemplo: Yo me cepillo los dientes antes de bañarme.

¿Cuál es el sujeto? hay que pensar… cuál es el sujeto? What is the subject? Once you know the subject, you can change the reflexive pronoun at the end of the infinitive verb.
