Unequal comparisons Adjectives To compare differences between people and things, Spanish use these comparatives: más/menos + adjective+ que Pablo es más inteligente que Juan. The following comparative words are irregular. These don’t use más/menos. mayor-older menor-younger Mejor-better peor-worse

Equal Comparisons with nouns Tanto(a,os,as) + noun + como as many/much….as I have as many shoes as you. Yo tengo tantos zapatos como tú. Tanto(a,os,as) must agree with the noun.

Equal Comparisons Adjectives To compare similarities between people and things, use these phrases: Tan + adjective or adverb + como as….as La tarta es tan sabrosa como el flan. The cake is as tasty as the custard. Adjective must agree with the noun.
