April is National Poetry Month! The students have been using their knowledge of Spanish to express themselves by creating original odes. What is an ode? It is a type of poem that praises a particular person or thing. Today, BCWLA students will discuss their favorite things through poetry! ”La primavera” (Spring) – English Translation Spring is arriving ….. the sun wakes from its nap The flowers become happy ….. and get dressed for a party. The birds return and sing with Joy ….. To see the welcoming colors. Sring flowers, butterflies ….. The days are long and full of color. Spring, full of color, thank you for bringing the sun again!
