Uses of saber To know a fact To have information about something Ex: Yo sé el número de teléfono de Paco. I know Paco’s phone number. (fact) Ex:Sabemos que viven en Madrid. We know that they live in Madrid. (fact/to have info) Ex: ¿Sabes dónde está mi mochila? Do you know where my backpack is? (To have info)

Uses of saber A form of saber followed by an infinitive means “to know how to do something.” DO NOT use “como” between saber and second verb. Ex: Ellos saben nadar. = They know how to swim. Ex: Yo sé hablar español. = I know how to speak Spanish. (Not Sabo)
