Lesson #1: Adjectives & Nouns Agree

Rojo, Azul, Amarillo, Verde Colors (Rojo, Azul, Amarillo, Verde) are all adjectives. But so are the articles: el, la, los, las, un, una, unos, unas.

If an adjective ends in “o”, such as Rojo, GenderNumber then it agrees in Gender and in Number with the noun it modifies. La camisa roja. Los vestidos rojos. If an adjective does not end in “o”, then it agrees only in number. Los sombreros verdes.

Plural of Adjectives: If the adjective ends in a vowel, just add “s.” Blancos Verdes If the adjective ends in a consonant, add “es.” Azules
