What is an adjective? An adjective describes a noun (person, place, or thing) For example: The serious student El alumno serio Adjective Noun Noun Adjective The cute boy is a serious student Adjective Noun Adjective Noun El chico guapo es un alumno serio Noun Adjective Noun Adjective In English, the adjective goes in front of the noun it is describing. In Spanish, the adjective usually comes after the noun it is describing.
