Repaso – KEY GRAMMAR TERMS  Subject – WHO or WHAT the sentence is about  Felix washes the dishes.  Verb – The action of a sentence. The verb is conjugated according to the subject.  Felix washes the dishes  Conjugate – to change a verb so that it AGREES with the subject.  I sweep. Felix sweeps.

Repaso  A verb unconjugated (no subject) is called the INFINITIVE form of the verb  There are three “classes” of infinitives in Spanish: –ar, -er, or -ir  Ejemplo: bailar = to dance envolver = to wrap recibir = to receive  When you conjugate a verb, you add endings according to which “class” of verb it is (ej: hablar takes –ar verb endings while comer takes –er verb endings)
