Using the verb “IR” is one way in Spanish to express “EL FUTURO,” or THE FUTURE.

We use the future tense to talk about things we are GOING TO DO.

¿Qué vas a hacer? Change it depending on whom you’re talking about: ¿Qué va a hacer él/ella? ¿Qué vamos a hacer? ¿Qué van a hacer? What are you going to do? What is he/she going to do? What are we going to do? What are you all going to do?
