 Pronouns that follow prepositions are different from subject pronouns and object pronouns.  Use these pronouns after preposition like para, de, a, and con.  Pronouns after prepositions: mínosotros/as tivosotros/as élellos ellaellas ustedustedes

Use para + pronoun to state an opinion.  Para mí la clase de español es muy interesante.  Para nosotros la moda es muy importante. Para = for  El abrigo es para ella.

With verbs like gustar, use pronouns after the preposition a to add emphasis/clarify. a= to A ti te gusta hablar. A ella le gusta los libros.

 When you use mí and ti after the preposition con, they combine with con to form the words conmigo and contigo.  conmigo=with me  contigo=with you  con ella=with her  con nosotros=with us  Ella viene al cine conmigo.

 de= of, from  Ellos viven lejos de mí.  Ustedes están cerca de ella.

1 st Rule  Clarifiers for verbs like gustar and quedar.  You don’t use subject pronouns (yo, tú…)  a + pronoun/noun a mía nosotros/as a tia vosotros/as a éla ellos a ellaa ellas a usteda ustedes

 Verbs like gustar and quedar take indirect object pronouns. me(to me)nos (to us) te(to you)os (to you pl) le(to him,her,you)les (to them, you pl)

 You only use 3 rd person singular or plural of the verb.  Gustar= gusta/gustan  Quedar=queda/quedan  The 3 rd rule is that if what precedes the verb quedar is sigular then you use queda, if it is plural you use quedan.  A mí me queda bien la falda.  A mí me quedan mal las botas.

 Encantar =to love things  Importar=to matter to be important.  Interesar=to interest Rule 1= Clarifier Rule 2= IOP Rule 3= 3 rd person singular or plural of the verb  A ella le encanta la ropa moderna.  A ti te importa estar de moda.  A Pablo y a Juan no les interesa la moda.

 Use the verb gustar, quedar, interesar, importar, and encantar.  Think of one question for each verb.  Then you will ask your partner the questions.(vice versa)  Then practice and present to class.

 Think of questions to ask your partner with the verbs hacer, traer etc…  Use the verbs like gustar….  Also be able to talk about what you like to wear. Be able to describe your favorite clothing.  You must be able to talk for 2min. A group of three must be able to talk for 2 ½ min.
