Cómo usar este archivo You can play slides show, print word cards or picture cards, store program of intelligence of pictures by using this file. The table in the first page shows 30 lessons for words+pictures, 30 lessons for pictures and 15 lessons for words. You can click the link of appropriate lesson and enjoy them with your baby/child. Each lesson last for less than 30 seconds. There are 3 kinds of lesson that you can play with: Words+Pictures: shows 10 words+pictures, word first and then the picture Pictures: shows 10 pictures Words: shows 10 words Each lesson shows word/pictures in different sequences so as not to bore the baby. You don’t need to play all 3 kinds of lesson, just show your baby what you want him/her to learn. It is recommended by the "How To Teach Your Baby to Read" book by Dr Glenn Doman that words should be showed 3 times a day for 5 days, pictures should be showed 3 times a day for 10 days, and no more. It is because the child would have learnt them and would get bored if you continue to show the material. Also, there should be at least 30 minutes break between each lesson. Apart from playing slide show, you can printing cards with picture at one side and name/subject of the picture on the other side. Or you can print out the pictures and the program of intelligence at the footnotes (see page 30)

Cómo crear tu propia versión You can create your own version by downloading and editing the template file at http://www.palmchristy.net/baby/download. Please follow the steps below: At powerpoint environment, open the template.pot file downloaded from http://www.palmchristy.net/baby/download Replace the “subject” at the top of page 1 and at page2 by the subject matter of the 10 words/pictures Replace the “word1” to “word10” by your own set of words If you wish, you can add the translation at the top left hand corner box Go to master piece to add the subject at the bottom right hand corner box. Add image to each slide under each word at page 4, 6, 8… , 22 (p.27) Add sound to each word/picture if you wish (p.28) Add program of intelligence to each picture if you wish (p.29) Save file to pps format. It can show slides without using powerpoint software. Cómo agregar programas de inteligencia If you wish to add program of intelligence (i.e. 10 facts related to the picture) to teach your child encyclopedia knowledge, you can add them to the footnote field under each picture. They can be printed out separately (see page 30)

Impresión Printing picture cards: You can print out all the 10 pictures to A4 size paper by selecting “All pictures sequence 1,2,3…” in the print area box. This will print out all the picture pages i.e. page 4,6,8,10…, 22 Printing words at the back of the picture cards: please load all the printed picture cards to your printer and select “All words sequence 10,9,8…” or “All words sequence 1,2,3…” as appropriate, according to the setting of your printer. This will print out all the word pages i.e. page 21,19,17… or page 3,5,7… (caution: Please conduct test yourself to avoid waste of paper.) Printing cards with picture and 10 programs of intelligence: By selecting footnotes instead of slides as print item, you can print out 10 pages, each page has a picture and footnotes. All the The pictures will show at top of the page, follows by programs of intelligence. Printing word cards: You can print out all 10 words as word cards to A4 size paper by selecting “All words sequence 1,2,3…” in the print area box. This will print out all the words pages i.e. page 3,5,7,9…, 21.

Presentación al azar This template has pre-defined 3 types of random slide show, each type has 5 to 10 combinations. They can be seen at [Slide Show] [Custom Shows] These pre-defined random slide shows work for 10 slides only. If you wish to show more than 10 slides, you should update these pre-defined custom shows to including the additional piece of slides, otherwise they will not be shown. The default setting of play speed is 00:00.8 per page. They can be changed at [Slide Show] menu. The recommended play speed is 1 second or below per page so as not to bore the baby. Baby brain can capture the screen in less than 1/100 second. Please following the steps at page 26 in creating your own version. Deletion or insertion of slides is not recommended as they will damage the random slide show feature.

For printing name of bit and subject at the opposite side of the picture: this box in the top left hand corner is a good place for typing the name of each bit printing If you don’t wish to print this large red word, you can change the font color of this box to “white” in the master piece view. They will be disappeared from the screen. You can edit the subject in the master piece view by clicking “view” and then “master piece”.
