PRACTICAR Los rompecabezas In order to practice your recognition of polite words, try the Brainbuster! 1.) Work with your partner 2.) Each pair will receive a bag with puzzle pieces inside. 3.) Lay all of the pieces out on your desk. 4.) Match up the English phrases with their proper Spanish translations. **EVERY SIDE of EVERY PIECE must with be matched with the proper translation. (There is an exception….) 5.) When you think you have solved the puzzle, show the finished product to Sra. Lentz 6.) Put all the pieces back in the envelope, making sure you have collected all the pieces.

The class will be divided into two teams Each student on each team will receive 2 or 3 cards with Spanish vocabulary words from the class written in English As the teacher calls out a Spanish vocabulary word, it is your job to stand and say the English translation from the matching card in front of you You want to do this as quickly as possible so that you say the translation before the student with the same card from the other team does. Words will include classroom commands and polite words
