Student Learning Agenda: HOY EN CLASE… At the end of this lesson, students should be able to: Identify the utensils used for cooking, serving, and setting the table. Understand and participate in basic conversations about setting the table. Recite a Spanish Nursery Rhyme that teaches items on a table.

DO IT NOW HAZLO AHORA Knowledge you should bring to class: Students should be able translate the following vocabulary from English to Spanish: -to set the table -to clear the table -to eat -to drink -to cook Demonstrate your ability to conjugate each of the following verbs in the “yo” form. Javier is going to tell you what he will use and why. Determine if his statements are verdad or falso. CHALLENGE YOURSELF… If his statements are false, correct them to make a true statement so that Javier can appropriately “poner la mesa.”
