3 Every infinitive has 2 parts: 1.STEM- The stem is the part of the infinitive before one of the 3 endings. (-AR, -ER, -IR) For example in hablar – It is habl... (the part before the –ar ending). 2. ENDING – The ending is the –ar, -er, -ir part of the infinitive.
