Marta estaba distraída (perispau) ”peri” significa alrededor, y “spao” significa jalar. Martha was distracted (perispao) “peri” = around, and “spao” = to pull.

María estaba sentada con Jesús Mary was sitting with Jesus (pros parakaqesqeisa) (pros parakathestheisa) Kaqezomai (Kathezomai) verbo reflexivo = sentarse reflexive verb = to seat oneself “Para” = al lado de – by the side of “Pros” = muy cerca a Jesús very close to Jesus

Nkouen viene de la palabra: akouw que significa que ella estaba escuchando con entendimiento. “Nkouen” from root word: “akouo” which means she was listening with understanding.

En el versículo 42 Jesús dice que solo “Una cosa es necesaria y María ha escogido la buena parte.” Jesús toma todas las preocupaciones de Marta y dice que solo una cosa es necesaria. In verse 42 Jesus says there is only “one needful thing and Mary has chosen it.” Jesus notes all of Martha’s concerns and says that only one thing is necessary.

Marta, sin embargo, es diakonian (diakonian) que significa que está sirviendo, atendiendo, rindiendo servicios. Jesús le hace ver que no tiene que hacer todo ello. Martha on the other hand is “diakonian” which means she is serving, waiting, or the act of rendering friendly offices. Jesus shows her she does not need to do all of those things.
