Tag questions A tag question is attached to the end of a sentence to make it a question. If you expect someone to answer yes, use ¿no? or ¿verdad? Vienes a la fiesta, ¿no? (¿verdad?) You’re coming . . . aren’t you? Sí, voy a ir. Yes, I’m going to go.

Tag questions When the expected answer is no, use ¿verdad? No vas al partido, ¿verdad? You’re not going . . . right? No, no voy. No, I’m not going.
