8 Tag questions… Tag questions are questions placed at the end of a sentence to make it a question. You are going to the movies. (statement) You are going to the movies, right? -(Tú) vas al cine. ¿verdad? You are going to the movies, right? We are going to go to the park (aren’t we). Vamos a ir al parque, ¿no?

9 Tag questions If you expect the answer to be yes, add ¿no? Vienes a la fiesta, ¿no? You’re coming to the party, aren’t you? Sí, voy a ir. When you expect the answer to be no: ¿verdad? Right? No vas al partido, ¿verdad? You’re not going to the game/match, right? No, no voy.
