Homework policy / Politica de Tareas Homework is an essential part of students’ final grades. Homework is practice and/or application of skills learned in class. Homework should take, under normal conditions, from 15 to 20 minutes per subject every night. An exception to this is when the student is working on an ongoing project. If he/she chooses to work longer for a project, then it will take longer than the usual time frame. Notices and homework will go in one folder. Please, make sure you check your child’s homework/notices folder to check for frequent notices and for current homework.

Homework policy / Politica de Tareas Las tareas son una parte principal de tu nota final. Las tareas son práctica y/o aplicación de las destrezas aprendidas en el salón de clases. Las tareas deben tomar de 15 a 20 minutos por asignatura cada noche bajo condiciones normales. Una excepción a esto es cuando el estudiante opta por trabajar más tiempo en proyectos o tareas especiales, lo cual le tomará más tiempo para completar. Las notas y tareas van a ir a la casa en un cartapacio (folder). Les rogamos que revisen el cartapacio a diario para verificar que no se ha enviado una nota importante a los padres.

All papers should either be in a binder, homework folder, a school portfolio, or the recycling bin. Always has a pencil, eraser, and pen in his/her pencil case.

SIEMPRE tiene un lápiz, bolígrafo y borrador consigo.
