Los adjetivos What is an adjective in English? A word that describes a noun. blue, big, handsome, tall What is an adjective in Spanish? Name some Spanish adjectives.

Los adjetivos Spanish adjectives describe nouns just like English. REMEMBER: They must match the noun they modify in number and gender. Most Spanish adjectives come AFTER the nouns they modify.

Los adjetivos Ejemplo: la pizarra roja el bolígrafo rojo Gender: If the adjective ends in “o” or “a”, you must make sure it matches the gender of the noun. Ejemplo: la pizarra roja el bolígrafo rojo

Ejemplo: la pizarra grande Los adjetivos If the adjective does not end in “o” or “a” you do not have to worry about gender. Ejemplo: la pizarra grande el bolígrafo grande
